Development of DBZ Budokai: Tenkaichi Completed!
 September 28th, 2005 (10:53am) - Atari has announced that the development of Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi for the PS2 has been completed, going gold, and going into its production phase. The game ships to videogame retailers on October 15th.

"With DBZ Budokai: Tenkaichi, gamers can now battle in true 3D with more characters than ever before and experience the game in highly destructible, authentic environments." Even with a new studio heading the development of the game, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi promises to outdo its Budokai predecessors, by taking the gameplay traits of the previous games and enhancing. With the ability to battle in the air or underwater, players have the unprecedented power and freedom to experience the intensity of DBZ in an all new way. Offering over 50 playable characters, multiple gameplay modes and a combination of melee and energy attacks, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi promises to be the best DBZ 3D fighter we’ve seen on the PS2 to date.
