Mana-mania: Square Enix Announces Two Titles

September 28th, 2005 (12:25pm) - While Square Enix announced World of Mana at E3, nothing further has been said about the title, or the Mana series, at least until now.

While World of Mana remains under wraps, or has possibly evolved into either of these titles, Square Enix announced two other titles in the Mana series that don’t go by the World of Mana moniker.

Seiken Densetsu 4 (which is the japanese title for the Mana games) has been announced. The game will be fully 3D, and show a lot of detail to the characters; apparantly emotion will be visable on their faces. A system has yet to be revealed, as do any other details, though the game is likely arrive in the current generation.

Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana has also been announced, and is apparantly quite far in development. The game is a 2D action-rpg and will hit Japan some time in 2006.

More details are expected to be announced in the coming days.
