Children of Mana Pre-mature?
Children of Mana for the DS is closer than previously expected; new details revealed. October 5th, 2005 (2:11pm) - When Square Enix revealed Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana, they said it wasnt coming out until Winter 2006, and fans everywhere prepared for a long wait.
Its good news for these fans then, that Square Enix revised the date listed with Children of Mana in the latest Famitsu, and its coming out in Japan between December of 2005 and February 2006. No word yet on a US version. Famitsu also revealed that the game will support a wireless multiplayer mode. Characters will have to work together in certain situations. One character would have to hit another over a fence, for example. Division of labor is also a big focus on the multiplayer mode. Combat will also see some changes. Youll be able to equip multiple weapons, and perform other tasks given different situations. Character modification will be a big deal, since you can equip items that modify the stats of you and your teammates. The stylus will be used in some way, but the main controls will remain attatched to the face buttons. The team doesnt want to use the stylus for the sake of doing so, but instead want to do something meaningful with it though they dont know what yet.
