Nintendo DS Covered in ASH
Mistwalker Studios is bringing a new game to the DS with Nintendo taking up the publishing duties. October 5th, 2005 (2:25pm) - Mistwalker Studios, the new development studio from the father of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi has announced theyll be bringing ASH to the Nintendo DS.
ASH, which stands for Archaic Sealed Heat will be an RPG, though little is known about the actual gameplay details. The team refers to the game internally as "Team Tactics," so take that how you will. The game is supposed to have 3D graphics. Sakaguchi commented that he wanted the details to look more realistic than other DS games. ASHs storyline will be about an ancient flame that was many years ago sealed off. This flame would burn people, and turn them to ashes. They would later then be revived, because their heart and memories would remain. The story centers around Queen Aisha, who is surrounded by the recently risen and still-rising dead, and how she come to understand and deal with this situation. Shell uncover ancient conspiracies, encounter time-travellers, and get mixed up in other types of situations.
