October 5th, 2005 (5:07pm) - Nintendo’s list of upcoming games wasn’t quite the end of the news for the DS today. Many 3rd parties revealed a list of games they will be publishing for the DS through the holidays and into the next year and many new games have been revealed.
Below is a list and brief description of the new games announced:
Gyakuten Saiban 4
-Capcom, Adventure, Working Title, 2006
The last game in the series was brough to the US under the moniker "Phoenix Wright." No further details are available yet.
DS Tales
-Namco, RPG, Working Title, 2006
This will be Namco’s DS installment of the popular Tales series, though no details have been revealed.
Castlevania
-Konami, Action, 2006
Konami pleases fans of the Belmonts and gives them another dual-screened opportunity to explore Castle Dracula, or a replica; we don’t know at this point.
Tenchu DS
-From Software, Action, Working Title, 2006
Tenchu DS will feature 3D visuals and an overhead perspective. Most of the action takes place on the top screen from what we know so far.
Yu-Gi-Oh Series
-Konami, Card Battle, 2006
This will be the second Yu-Gi-Oh installment on the Nintendo DS.
Bomberman Story

A Bomberman RPG? The Megaman X series got one, so why not?
New SD Gundam
-Banpresto, Simulation-RPG, 2006
Another Gundam game for the Nintendo DS is coming out some time in 2006.

This game will be based off the Sudoku number game. A board is split into nine rows and columns. The resulting squares are further split into 3x3 groups. The game starts off with some of the squares filled in with numbers between 1 and 9. You have to fill in the rest of the numbers so that each row, column and 3x3 grouping uses the digits 1 to 9 only once. Here’s an online version to try out. This particular puzzle game has been brought to game consoles before.
