Reports of first wave Pre-orders going for as much as $4,000 USD on Ebay  October 22nd, 2005 (3:14pm) - With the excitement mounting as Microsoft’s latest console nears closer to launch, excessive pricing between independents has begun.
On Ebay, the price of an Xbox 360 pre-order as of this writing are going for as high as $4,000USD. With the placement of the global release dates, Microsoft has made sure that demand will be high at least until after the New Year.
