2K Games and Bethesda Softworks announced today that Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth has shipped to North American retailers. October 24th, 2005 (11:12am) - Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a first-person horror game that features dynamic gameplay with a unique mix of investigation, puzzle solving, exploration and combat as gamers are given the seemingly impossible quest of battling evil incarnate.
Set during the 1920s, the story is based on the Cthulhu Mythos inspired by the writing of H.P. Lovecraft, an American fantasy and horror writer. Lovecraft, whose work tells stories of unthinkable evil, psychic possession and mythical worlds is one of Americas best known writers. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is rated M for Mature, and will be available this week in North American retail stores with a msrp of $39.99. Reported by Andrew T.
