New And Improved Halos For The Next Gen?
Rumor mill begins circulating about the updates to be made to two Xbox classics October 25th, 2005 (11:08am) - Microsoft has been at a severe disadvantage with backwards compatibility between Xbox 360 and Xbox because of the vast differences in terms of technology, but up until now no ones really considered the possible advantages of that situation. Bungie Studios, however, has broken the silence. "Were going to have more to tell you about how Halo one and two look on 360, and its all good news," Bungie reps have said.
Rumors have been flying backwards compatibility would add 720P support for HDTVs, in addition to cleaning up frame rates and texture issues. Some people have even gone so far as to mention the possibility of online play being included for the original Halo, but as of this writing no one at Microsoft or Bungie have made anything official.
