October 26^th, 2005 (3:18pm) - Grasshopper Manufacturer’s Gouichi Suda (a.k.a. "Suda 51"), the producer of Capcom’s Killer 7, has confirmed the development of a game title he will be producing for Nintendo’s Revolution next-generation game console, in the latest issue of Japan’s Famistu videogame publication.

While Suda 51 did not reveal any specific details regarding the game, he did reveal that Grasshopper has begun to finalize the plans for the game. He mentioned that fans should expect something extreme from the developer, along the lines of Killer 7, and that the game will heavily focus on direct input from the Revolution’s controller. He promises that the game will surpass Killer 7.

No word on a possible publisher. Grasshopper is an independent game development studio and for and it’s possible that any publisher could pick up rights to publish the game when the time comes, including Nintendo itself.
