Castlevania movie to be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson
One of Konami's famous games gets the movie treatment...  November 3rd, 2005 (1:04am) - Konami has sold the movie rights to Castlevania to Crystal Sky Pictures. The Castlevania movie will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (who has directed Alien vs. Predator and Resident Evil).
The film is set to focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, the vampire-slaying family that has become humanity’s last hope. Production is to begin in mid-2006.
