November 16^th, 2005 (1:41pm) - Paradox Interactive today announced a stand-alone expansion pack for their successful grand strategy title Hearts of Iron II. The expansion will include the original game and boasts a World War III scenario, a complete scenario editor as well as an extended time line.

"Hearts of Iron II - DOOMSDAY has a simpler yet more advanced gameplay and the WWIII scenario with its nuclear conflict is sure to put an interesting twist to the story".

Hearts of Iron II - DOOMSDAY is scheduled for release in April 2006.
