November 29^th, 2005 (3:42am) - PSP firmware version 2.6 has been released for the Playstation Portable.

Among other smaller updates in the new firmware version, the most important features added are the ability to play WMA files on your memory stick, being able to download video that supports copyright protection, and possibly the most monumental addition in RSS feeds, similar to podcasts.

To use WMA, however, you’ll need an internet connection through your PSP to enable it, so make sure you’re able to connect to a hotspot before trying to enable it.
