Nintendo Recruiting for Super Smash Bros. Revolution
December 2nd, 2005 (4:15pm) - Nintendo is currently looking to hire a few individuals to fill out the following positions for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. videogame for the Nintendo Revolution game console:
Game Programmer 3D Character Designer/Modeler 3D Character Animator 3D Map Designer Those hired for the project are only being contracted to assist in the development of Super Smash Bros. for the Revolution only and may be terminated once the games development is completed. Whats interesting about this news is that it makes fans question whether or not the game will be available for the Revolutions launch, as originally implied by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. How far into development is the game? It was just recently revealed that Masahiro Sakurai would return to Nintendo to direct this next-generation instalment in the Super Smash Bros. series, being first asked to head the games development after it was officially announced at E3 in May. If were to assume that development of the game started soon after E3, if the Revolution were to launch in Summer 2006, as rumored recently, this only gives the game approx. one year of development. Is that enough time to develop this potential killer app? Reported by Elias Dounis on December 2nd, 2005 (4:15pm)
