Valkyrie Profile: PSP Version and Sequel Coming
Square Enix announces a PSP port of the PSOne cult classic Valkyrie Profile and a PS2 sequel.  December 10th, 2005 (1:19pm) - Valkyrie Profile is fondly remembered by those who played it, but due to limited pressing not many did. While the game is hard to find right now, those who missed out on the classic Enix RPG will have a second chance at playing it, and also an opportunity to get ready for the sequel. Valkyrie Profile is being ported to the PSP, and a sequel is coming to the PS2.
The PSP port will be titled Valkryrie Profile: Lenneth. Lenneth is the main character of the original game, and at this time it is unknown if the port will see any enhancements or not. The game is due out in Japan March 2nd, 2006, and no US date is currently listed. The sequel, titled Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria, is headed to the PS2. The main characters are Silmeria and Alisha, who inhabit the same body at the same time. Silmeria is the sister of Lenneth, and is also a Valkyrie. Alisha is the princess of Dipan; she angered the god Odin, and as punishment the soul of Silmeria is attatched to Alisha. No release date has yet been announced.
