Nintendos Revolution to be Popular Amongst Girls
Hideo Kojima intrigued by the possibilities of Nintendo's next-generation game machine. December 16th, 2005 (1:59am) - According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Hideo Kojima, the creator of the critically acclaimed Meta Gear Solid series, has recently stated that he believes Nintendos next-generation game console, codenamed Revolution, "will be popular with girls."
While Kojima-san failed to elaborate on these words, it has been made clear that Nintendos goal with the Revolution to attract "non-gamers" to home console gaming with the console, as it has done with games such as Nintendogs and Brain Training for Adults on the Nintendo DS. Nintendogs is understood to be very popular amongst female gamers, one of Nintendos new target audiences. In addition to the previous statement, Kojima has expressed his desire to create games on the console that are "based on life, something organic." Unfortunately, this comment is just as vague as the previous one... Ever since the Revolution controllers unveiling at the Tokyo Game Show, Hideo Kojima has been one of the strongest third-party supporters for Nintendos next-generation game console. It is known that Kojima and his development team are currently in development with at least one title for the console.
