VU Games Announces Videogame Tied to Ice Age 2 Film
 December 16th, 2005 (12:38pm) - Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) announced today that a videogame is in development based on 20th Century Fox’s upcoming family film, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown videogame will be available in stores this Spring 2006 for the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance and PC. The game will carry an MSRP of $19.99 for PC, $29.99 for Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance and $39.99 for console products. "We are excited to continue our successful partnership with Fox to create an extension of the Ice Age story in a fully engaging interactive entertainment experience," said Peter Della Penna, Chief Operating Officer, Product Development for VU Games. "Academy Award-winning animation studio Blue Sky, has contributed an impressive visual style and hilarious storyline for our development partners to turn into great family gaming."
