Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 online servers to shut down
Come join the New Year's Eve Disconnection Party! December 28th, 2005 (4:01am) - Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4s online servers are set to shut down permanently -- effective January 1, 2006. It will be a New Years "celebration" for many THPS4 fans, one that ultimately says "buy a new version of Tony Hawk." Those with a copy of THPS4 and an internet connection should join others in the good bye, and be online when Activision pulls the plug.
Released in 2002, THPS4 was the second game in the Tony Hawk series to have online play. It will be about 3 years for the online mode to be left operational. Reported by David Amirian on December 28th, 2005 (4:01am)
