The Monkeys Return to the GameCube... and PS2
An all new videogame featuring the monkeys from Super Monkey Ball coming in 2006, but it's not what you may think it is.
 January 24th, 2006 (3:12pm) - It has been revealed that developer Traveller’s Tales, best known for the well received Lego Star Wars, will be developing an adventure game based on Amusement Vision’s Super Monkey Ball videogames by the name of Monkey Ball Adventures.
Nintendo’s European release schedule has the game coming out in June 2006 in European territories and the Official PlayStation 2 Magazine, which first broke news regarding the game’s existence, has stated that Monkey Ball Adventures is on its way to the PS2 and PSP as well. Monkey Ball Adventures is a story-based adventure/platformer. The game will feature five theme worlds and will offer a variety of balls to discover and used, each which give the series’ characters new abilities, like the use of a wooden ball to roll over water. The game is also expected to include a nice amount of mini-games for multiplayer purposes. Reported by Elias Dounis on January 24th, 2006 (3:12pm)
