Kuma Reality Games Developing on Source
Kuma’s upcoming games to be powered by Valve’s benchmark engine. March 22nd, 2006 (5:33pm) - Valve today announced a Source Engine licensing partnership with Kuma Reality Games, creators of Kuma\War. Already in development, Kumas Source-based projects, including a comedic action title and the next generation of Kuma\War, are targeted for release on the PC later this year. "Kuma has been tremendously successful over the last two years, but were ready to move to the next generation of video games," said Keith Halper, CEO, Kuma Reality Games. "By using Source, well be able to create realistic characters for our upcoming episodic television-like products." The Source Engine Technology, the same Valve created for Half-Life 2, gives developers the ability to create expressive digital actors and physically simulated worlds. It also offers advanced rendering capabilities and the industrys most convincing artificial intelligence.
