Possible Fake: New Nintendo Logo Surfaces
Nintendo GO? March 23rd, 2006 (9:26am) - A new logo has surfaced onto the internet and fans are being led to believe that this is in fact the new logo and new name of Nintendos new generation game console, codenamed Revolution, which reads "Nintendo GO."
This name and logo could very well be fake, however, there isnt anything apparent that labels this logo as a clear fake, since the Japanese next that is slightly viewable is written in the correct context and usually misused Japanese is the first thing to give away a fake. However, if this logo is indeed real, most fans are being lead to believe that this may not be the Revolutions new name and logo but instead the name of Nintendos online game service or virtual console download service, because Nintendo GO could easily mean "Nintendo Gamers Online. However, www.nintendogo.com has not been registered by Nintendo, so its most likely a fake. Well keep you posted on the situation as Nintendo President Satoru Iwatas keynote address at GDC approaches.
