New Castlevania DS Info
Starring a whip-wielding hero!  March 30th, 2006 (6:13pm) - Konami announced, months ago, during a conference call that it would be developing yet another Castlevania game for the Nintendo DS and details about the game are slowly beginning to trickle out. While this information is unconfirmed, supposedly the newest issue of GamePro has revealed that the title of the Nintendo DS’ next Castlevania game is Castlevania: Dual Moons and will be starring Julius Belmont.
Dual Moons will be taking place in 1999 before the events of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, two games in which the character of Julius Belmont made cameo appearances in. It is being suggested that this next 2D Castlevania game will go back to the series roots and ditch the popular and critically acclaimed "Metroidvania" formula. The game is scheduled to see a release in 2007.
