Michael Ancel and Rayman Together Again
Rayman returns this holiday season for both current and next-gen platforms. April 6th, 2006 (3:28pm) - Ubisoft has announced that it is developing the fourth instalment of the Rayman franchise. This new Rayman videogame is being developed by Ubisofts Montpellier studio, lead by Michel Ancel, creator of the original Rayman game, the critically-acclaimed Beyond Good & Evil and Peter Jacksons King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie. This newest Rayman platformer will launch during Holiday 2006 on current and next-generation consoles.
"Rayman is one of the brands that encapsulate Ubisofts ability to create characters and universes that appeal to all kinds of players," said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft.
