THQ Announces Two for the Revolution
SpongeBob and another Nickelodeon property coming to the Revolution. April 24th, 2006 (1:05pm) - Today, THQ has revealed that SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab and Avatar: The Last Airbender will be heading to the Nintendo Revolution.
In SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab SpongeBob explores the peculiar world of Bikini Bottom as it transforms through a series of various unique visual styles Continuing to reign as a top gaming and TV property, SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab offers fans brand new gameplay mechanics through nine visually bizarre levels. The game is also expected to see a release on the PS2, GameCube, GBA, Nintendo DS and Windows PC this fall, alongside the Revolution. Avatar: The Last Airbender is based on Nickelodeons hottest new show, fans will play as Aang, Katara, Sokka and Haru as they grow into an unstoppable team utilizing the kung fu inspired bending arts through the Avatar universe. Players will explore the four Avatar nations in beautifully detailed environments and battle new enemies. The game is expected for release on the PS2, GameCube, Xbox, GBA, PSP, Nintendo DS and Windows PC this fall, in addition to the Revolution version. Sure, these arent the kind of games most hardcore gamers will look forward to but it shows that major third parties are supporting the Revolution with their software and well see more of this software support at E3 next month.
