Red Orchestra Prepares To Play
Help support the motherland, comrade! June 5th, 2006 (12:21pm) - Excalibur Publishing is pleased to announce that it has signed a UK publishing deal for Tripwire Interactive LLCs much-anticipated latest project, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45.
Based on the most highly-acclaimed Unreal mod ever made, Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 is a full-featured, stand-alone World War II First Person Combat sim that brings players to the frontlines of Eastern European combat during the height of the conflict. Players choose from 28 infantry weapons or crew 1 of 14 detailed vehicles on the Russian Front between 1941-45. The combination of roles across more than one dozen maps, and based on real-world locations and battles, allows Red Orchestra to finally achieve its goal of delivering a full first-person, World War II infantry and vehicle combat simulation. Alan Wilson, VP of Tripwire Interactive LLC, said: "We are pleased to have secured this UK publishing deal especially with an organisation like Excalibur. Were looking for great things from the UK market!" Excaliburs MD, Robert Stallibrass said, "Red Orchestra is an outstanding product. Without doubt this is one of the most important PC releases this summer." Red Orchestra will be available from June 23rd 2006. Reported by Andrew T. Finger on June 5th, 2006 (12:21pm)
