One New Xbox Live Arcade Game Every Wednesday

Classic arcade games finally get release dates.

July 12th, 2006 (8:49pm) - Microsoft has announced that every Wednesday, Xbox Live Arcade will have one new game being released, and available for purchase through the Xbox Live Marketplace. The schedule itself has been named "Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays," which will provide a regular launch schedule of new Xbox Live Arcade titles on the Xbox 360. Starting today, Xbox Live Arcade games will be available worldwide (depending on the market) on Wednesdays at 0800 GMT (Midnight Pacific).


The current release schedule for Xbox Live Arcade is as follows

Ø July 12 – Frogger

Ø July 19 – Cloning Clyde

Ø July 26 – Galaga

Ø August 2 – Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting

Ø August 9 – Pac-Man

All Xbox Live Arcade games can be demoed for free on Xbox Live Marketplace.
