60% Attach Rate for Xbox Live
Microsoft prides itself on Xbox Live’s success.  July 17th, 2006 (11:25pm) - Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live has a 60% attach rate. This means that 60% of the people who have an Xbox360 have an Xbox Live account and have access to the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Xbox360 has a much higher attach rate than the Xbox, which only had around a 10 percent attach rate. Microsoft articulates that the growth is due to the free Silver Level access available to every Xbox360 owner as well as the services of Marketplace and Live Arcade.
