Atari Ignores PS3 Launch
Atari says no to the PS3 launch window, opting to release games in 2007 instead. Wii and Xbox 360 will see support this year, however. According to Atari CEO Bruno Bonnell during an interview with Gamesindustry.biz Atari isnt going to have any games ready for the systems launch, and has no plans to release any games until 2007.
Bonnell went on to say that Sony is "picking up the high-end of the market, the hardcore, passionate fans." He then said that the Wii and the Xbox 360 would both be seeing games this holiday season.
