August 5^th, 2006 (7:58pm) - Codemasters Online Gaming has announced ’PlayPLUS’, a new subscription and online payment system for the MMORPG ArchLord.

The PlayPLUS system will enable players to purchase subscription packages that include both additional game time and in-game bonus credits, which include benefits such as, teleportation spells, health boosts and many other desirable enhancements that will assist players in the ArchLord world.

Three varying monthly subscription packages will be available via the PlayPLUS system. The entry-level package will cost $9.99 and will include a credit allowance for players to purchase basic items and some enhancements, while other, larger packages will be available at various price points offering discounts and additional credits for use in the game.

Items obtained using the bonus credits are additional to the standard in-game currency system and are only used as a way of enhancing ones character further. Regular in-game items, including weapons, armour, potions, and mounts, are still freely available through the regular in-game currency system.

The all-new PlayPLUS system will be integrated into ArchLord in time for its Fall 2006 launch. However, gamers participating in the forthcoming BETA test will be able to experience the system beforehand. Gamers can sign up for the BETA at the official ArchLord website www.archlordgame.com
