SEGA Genesis Collection Announced
SEGA announces a collection of 30 classic titles from the 16-bit days for the PS2 and PSP. August 10th, 2006 (4:13pm) - Those impatient for the Virtual Console on the Nintendo Wii will be able to replay their old SEGA classics on the PS2 and PSP this fall.
While the collection is coming to both Sony systems, the PSP version will include new wireless multiplayer modes in some of the games, though which games have yet to be announced. SEGA promises the games will be emulated by Backbone Entertainment with "the utmost accuracy to the originals as possible." The collection includes the following classic games (though some are more "classic" than others). Some of the games overlap other collections, but others are sure to surface less frequently.
