"Check Mii Out Channel" Launches this Sunday
But is there room for it in your Wii’s internal memory?  November 8th, 2007 (4:18pm) - Nintendo has announced that on Sunday, November 11th the company will launch its newest channel for the Wii called "Check Mii Out." This new channel will allow Wii owners to upload their personalized Wii characters and share it with users around the globe utilizing the console’s WiFi capabilities.
Contests will be hosted that will allow users to re-create the likeness of a famous character or person in Mii-form and will allow users to vote for their favorite picks. These contests are expected to occur on a biweekly to weekly basis. The Check Mii Out channel will be available for download from the WiiWare area of the Wii Shop Channel and is free of charge.
