No Demo for Fallout 3
Bethesda claims that it would be impossible to accurately get an idea of the games actual content. April 22nd, 2008 (12:01am) - Playable game demos arent always the best thing for a game developer when showcasing an upcoming piece of software, especially for a game such as Fallout 3, in which story and other various gameplay aspects come together over the course of playtime and not within a short-lived demo. So it comes to no surprise to see Bethesdas Pete Hines go on the record to say "no way" to the possibility of seeing a demo of the game.
When you build it as one thing, theres no way to portion off a section and have it stand on its own without putting the whole game in the demo, which were just not going to do... And it doesnt really capture the fun of a game like an Elder Scrolls or a Fallout, where you can go where you want and do what you want. So no demo, sorry. So there you have it folks. If youre looking for a taste of what Fallout 3 has to offer, by your own hands, you may just have to wait for the final retail release. Reported by Elias Dounis on April 22nd, 2008 (12:01am)
