Double Dragon Hits Virtual Console

Are beat ’em ups the new shooters? Double Dragon makes two weeks in a row on the Virtual Console.

April 29th, 2008 (10:48am) - Can’t decide whether you like River City Ransom more than Double Dragon? Don’t have an 8-bit Nintendo any more? Well you can set your fears to rest and play both because Double Dragon was released yesterday for the Virtual Console.

The game can be downloaded for 500 Wii points and it based on the NES cart, not the arcade version. It was released one week after the cult-classic (and arguably better game) River City Ransom, making it two weeks in a row that beat ’em ups have hit the VC.
