Ready At Dawn P-S-Peaces Out
PSP regular calls it quits on Sonys portable system. Whats next? June 10th, 2008 (2:00pm) - Ready At Dawn is one of the most successful development houses to make games for the PSP (think God of War: Chains of Olympus, Daxter), but theyve boxed up their development kits and sent them back to Sony. The PSP is dead to them.
An official quote and photographic evidence is provided below for the non-believers. Believe: Theyve decided to move on. "With Chains of Olympus going Gold in Japan, were now officially done with PSP development," said a post on the companys website. "So today we sent all our dev kits back and seeing all these boxes ready to be picked up definitely marks the end of an era here at Ready At Dawn." No word on whats coming next. The company could be moving into PS3 development, seeing as how they have a lot of experience with Sony properties. However, theyre now intimately familiar with the Wii after porting Okami over for Capcom, so theres nothing to do now but wait for an official announcement regarding the future.
