Rock Band II is on the Way
...and everyone is not surprised except, perhaps, by how it is confirmed... June 15th, 2008 (7:44am) - Rock band II was confirmed by Funcom, the developers of the Age of Conan MMO, in a press release the first official original soundtrack for the game. They mentioned that Scandinavian band Turbonegro will have three songs on the soundtrack and while touting their excellence noted that they are working on Rock Band II.
Electronics Arts, the publisher of the game, said in a statement, "We have not currently announced any future titles, nor have we announced any plans for Turbonegro to be featured in the world of Rock Band at this time." The general company double speak does little to answer, but Brett Gurewitz, of Bad Religion, confirmed on his twitter that the band is putting the finishing touches on "sorrow" for the game. Two separate sources and the logical assumption that EA typically releases sequels to its games would all, but make Rock Band II hitting the store shelves just in time for Christmas official.
