Mega Man 9 Confirmed For WiiWare
The Blue Bomber is coming to WiiWare in his long fabled ninth journey. June 26th, 2008 (2:21pm) - The newest issue of Nintendo Power has confirmed what has long been speculated about -- Mega Man 9 is real, and its coming to Nintendos WiiWare service.
The game will be presented in classic form, with 8-bit graphics (and presumably sounds). The enemy list will include the following robots. Magma Man Galaxy Man Jewel Man Concrete Man Hornet Man Plug Man Tornado Man Splash Woman You read that right. Dr. Wily is apparently now an equal opportunity evil genius and has granted Spalsh Woman the chance to take out the Blue Bomber. The game is being developed by Inticreates, the house behind the Mega Man ZX series, along with both the Mega Man Zero games and the first three Mega Man X titles as well. The game was revealed in Nintendo Power, so there is a good chance it could be coming to other platforms as well. The magazine typically ignores other systems, so be sure to stay tuned for more details. Check out some pictures from the magazine at the source link below.
