Diablo III Announced
Stay awhile and listen...  June 28th, 2008 (2:20pm) - Speculation abound has been gripping fans of Blizzard as for the past week leading up to The Worldwide Invitational an image gripped the imaginations of gamers as to what was coming. Diablo III was one of the prominent theories and now it has come true.
Diablo III was announced today by it’s lead designer Jay Wilson, he of Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War fame. Along with the announcement, comes some information on the game itself. A comet has struck the very places where Diablo entered the world twenty years following the events of Diablo II and its expansion. The stalwart Barbarian will make his return and is joined by the new Witch Doctor. Specific abilities are not mentioned, but dual wielding is mentioned for the Barbarian.
