The Wii MotionPlus is a small device that attaches to the bottom of the remote, allowing the system to sense where the controller is in 3D space. "The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a players arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion," said Nintendo. "Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play. The Wii MotionPlus accessory reconfirms Nintendos commitment to making games intuitive and accessible for everyone." The device will be shown at Nintendos E3 press conference Tuesday. Current speculation attaches the device to the rumored Punchout!! title for the Wii, though nothing has yet been announced. Reported by Anthony Swinnich on July 14th, 2008 (1:57pm)
