Nintendo Now Leads In US
With this month’s NPD numbers released, Nintendo has taken the lead from Microsoft in the land of apple pie and baseball.  July 17th, 2008 (8:42pm) - Nintendo announced, via text message of all things, that they’ve overtaken Microsoft’s one year head start in the US.
"After just 20 mos, Wii is the new console leader in the US @ nearly 10.9 million units, says NPD 2day," said the Nintendo text message.
