Ensemble Studios Closing Shop After Completion of Halo Wars
 September 12th, 2008 (10:43pm) - It’s a sad day for fans of the Age of Empires franchise or for those that hoped Halo Wars would develop into one of similiar longevity.
Dallas-based Ensemble Studios hasn’t yet finished its work on Microsoft’s Halo Wars. When it does finish, it’s finished. Microsoft Game Studios has confirmed that it’s shuttering Ensemble, rearranging the leadership team to a new division and placing as many employees as possible elsewhere.
