Rumor Mill: Google Looking to Buy Valve
September 17th, 2008 (9:19am) - An announcement that Google will buy Valve, creator of the Half-Life and Counter Strike franchises, "any second now," according to anonymous sources cited by the Inquirer.
Google is interested in acquiring the Steam distribution system which allows for reliable distribution of DVD sized content such as content update and patches.
