Introduction
Set back in the time when myth griped the world, right after the first power stone, you realize a new evil arriving, the ‘Ryu-” like character, falcon, is caught in a whirl pool of dark clouds and instantly transported to the scene of the newest evil. A castle that harbors among the dark clouds in the skies in the middle of no where. Along with all the other previous power stone heroes, and even some new ones, it would seem like the only way out of this castle would be to challenge the host. who dares to challenge the awesome rival?’, ’ Fans whom remember the first power stone, will notice the game with a unfamiliar twist, moves and combos are the same, but an expansion of room and a further back camera view and angel that wasn’t present in the original power stone is now the step up. Added into the mix, the game is focused toward more of a four player battle scheme, rather then staying true to its 1on1 root, of course a 1on1 mode is optional, but with the expanded space, it doesn’t have the same feel once held by its predecessor. stick with PS1 if your craving more of the 1 on 1 chaos. Often a disappointment that its online function was left out, it doesn’t really take away from the game unless you don’t have friends. Simply stick in additional controllers for multi-player fun, for more times the chaos. ’, ’ The power stone 2 soundtrack goes absolutely perfectly with the high paced beat’em up action, as the techno mix stays in your head while your kickin the thanksgiving turkey out of ether the computerized Pride. While playing, its amazing how Capcom gave the characters simple designs with a medium level of detail, while still maintaining such large fighting environments.
