Unfortunately, Malice never hit retail shelves for the Xbox, or any other gaming platform for that matter, and currently it still floats around in Argonauts halls, causing many to wonder if it will ever see the light of day. However, Argonaut has not yet given up on Xbox owners and gamers alike… Argonaut’s latest game is Carve, a Jet Ski game in vane of Nintendo’s popular Wave Race series. Being published by Global Star (a division of Take-Two Interactive), Carve is the very first water sports game on the Xbox to feature Xbox Live multiplayer for up to eight players in a variety of gameplay modes. With Carve’s Xbox Live gameplay, players will have access to numerous options including custom races, a Team Mode where gamers partner with a friend to compete against other racers, and the ability to track stats and compare with racers from around the world.
Other features include: Incredibly realistic water effects (Waves, Wakes , Water droplets on the camera) Two different weather settings for each course Five challenging tournaments in the single player mode Ability to unlock faster watercrafts, cheats, extra tricks, and new levels 27 courses in locations such as: Europe, Pacific region, US, and the Artic Vast inventory of ramp and on the water tricks Trick tutorial to assist you in mastering the many tricks in your inventory Split-screen racing for up to 4 players Eight characters (racers) with individual racing styles along with signature tricks Teammate AI designed to assist the player in the race via blocking, ramming, or relinquishing positions for the benefit of the playerWith its realistic water effects and Xbox Live online multiplayer feature, Carve may just be the most entertaining water sports title yet. Carve is schedule for release on the 24th of February, exclusively for the Xbox, with an attractive price tag of $19.99.
