Pursuit Force puts you behind the wheel of a suped-up cop car set loose on the city streets in order to take down renegade drivers by any means necessary. At first glance the game looks and feels a lot like Criterion’s Burnout . Speeding along the twisty highways you will come up behind renegade cars for you to target and fire at, similar to True Crime . When you are able to get close enough to your rival it’s time to press the ’Jump’ button and... Wait, wait - a Jump button in a racing game? It seemed strange to me at first as well, and then suddenly my character jumps out of the police car entirely, landing on the hood of the enemy vehicle as it screamed down the road. Ducking and dodging enemy fire from within the vehicle I manage to take down each passenger one by one until finally the driver is dead and I find myself driving his car away to get the next guy, armed with whatever guns they had inside. Too cool. Another mission (which I’m told was a "boss mission") had me behind the wheel of a large delivery truck as enemy cars attempted to get up close enough along side me to attempt a similar hijacking. Quickly steering left and right, knocking into guard rails and passing cars was required to knock them off before they reached the cab of the truck.

Gamersmark was able to capture a short video clip of me playing at the show, which is being graciously hosted by our friends over at www.xboxyde.com. In this video you will see me roll up behind an enemy vehicle, hop on top of it, take out the bad guys and speed off in their wheels.

Somehow Bigbig manages to squeeze a lot of action packed and intense drama onto the small screen, with beautiful 3d graphics and fast and fun gameplay. As it currently stands, the game is only scheduled to be released in Europe at the end of this year, however I can’t see any publisher passing up the opportunity to release this gem stateside.
