The Gran Turismo games have always been about driving cars that gamers normally wouldnt be able to drive in real life. After 3 succesful masterpieces in GT1-3, Polyphony is looking to flesh out their roster of cars to even more exotic depths with Gran Turismo Concept. Concept is like an enigma to the automobile world. Concept cars are usually just built for fun, almost never intended for actual public sale. Theyre the Thrill Kill of cars, available to look at and photograph but never to be driven. More of an add on or update than a true sequel to GT3, Concept will feature atleast 23 cars and atleast 5 tracks. Whether these are new tracks on oldies hasnt been confirmed yet. The main appeal for GT Concept will likely be the same as its been for GT2-3, superior cars. Some of the cars in GT Concept will be familiar to GT3 players, most will not. Some of the rides are just beautiful and I cant wait to see them in action, like the Mazda Atenza 5HB or the Honda Dualnote. As of right now, there are no American car manufacturers because right now the game has not been announced for the US. But judging from the massive GT3 following and sales, its basically a given that GT Concept will make it overseas. |
