User Information

GamersMark collects information when a user registers for either the members area or the forums. This information will never be used for GamersMark for anything other than its original purpose. An opt-out is provided for our newsletter. If a user is under 13 years of age they are not allowed to register without their parents permission. No information is collected or used without the knowledge of the user.

Cookies

GamersMark sets cookies onto your computer when you log into the members area or the forums. These cookies are a little byte of information that stays on your computer and allows our website to identify your computer. When you log out of either the members area or the forums the cookies that has been set by GamersMark will be deleted.

Third-Party Measurement Services

Often, advertisers will employ a third-party service provider other than GamersMark for serving the advertisements and for tracking the performance of an ad program. These companies may employ cookie and 1x1 pixel technology to measure and improve the effectiveness of ads for their client. These companies may collect and use anonymous information about your visits to our member websites and other websites.The information collected can include:

date/time of your visit,
the banner ad that was shown,
their cookie,
your IP address,
the URLs of sites you visit
This information can also be used for online preference marketing (“profiling”) purposes.

In these instances, GamersMark has no control over the information collected by the third-party, and may not be held responsible for the actions of the third-party measurement service where collected information is concerned.

If you want to prevent a third-party advertiser from setting and/or reading cookies on your computer, you may either visit each ad server's web site individually and opt out or you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) site to opt-out of many of the third-party advertising companies’ cookies. Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post these changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. Regardless of later updates, we will never use the information you submit under this current policy in a new way without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
