Introduction

*Crash!* "You son of a motherless goat! Send out the Enforcer!!!!!" Sound strange? well yeah, it should, unless you’ve been playin’ NHL Hits, "the coolest game on earth."

Presentation

The presentation of this game are a little off, but it’s okay, i dont like how you have to hit exit, instead of just hittin "B" or somethin, o well, its alright, good enough to recieve a 7. The control on it is quite tight, and works great in game. So, around a 7.5 for presentation, right?

Graphics & Sound

Yo! can you say, great graphics??? well, they would be, but i would think they could make it a little better on the gamecube. o well, they are still alright, and same with the sound, but the sound track kicks.

Gameplay

Gameplay in this game is really awesome! You could play forever and have a great time. One great thing is cooperative, and all of the modes of play that are possible. I really like the options on custom playa’s. My whole team is custom, and they are called the flamin’ peacocks, but you cant fit that in, so i just called them the peacocks, or somethin like that. i always forget, dont really pay attention to that, because i can’t wait to actually play with my friends. The checking and all that is great, and the controls are perfectly set up, so i dont touch them. Fightin is cool like always! In this though, it is better then ever, it might as well be a fightin game, lol, well, you cant move from your position, but, its still great. You can throw quick punches, powerful, slower punches, grab them, dodge, and block. How cool is that? Another thing is just like all Midway games, is punchin’ in codes while the game loads, although that is a short time, but just long enough.

Lasting Appeal

Well, lasting appeal, man, thats great in this game, because its always different, change your team, change your opponents around, work up your characters in franchise by earning attribute points, and play against your friend. This is one of the highlights in this game.

Conclusion

So, NHL Hits is a pretty good game right? Well I sure think so. The game will last you a long time, and would be a good addition to anyone’s game collection, er, whateva you want to call, it, lol.
