Introduction

E.T. Has always been a hit with the children. Ever since it’s early 80’s appearance. Just recently E.T. Recieved a face lift, and along with the face lift a trio of new childrens games. The old atari game has gotten many awards including the worse game ever made. Will these movie to game translations do any better?

Presentation

All three of the games suffer from a glitchy menu system, but its not the worse I have seen. Interplanetary Mission dosent even have a full screen option and feels somewhat like an interactive shockwave game. The other two titles are much higher in quality.

Graphics & Sound

Nothing all to fancy here. The sound is pretty decent with shabby voice acting. Graphics are bright and full of color.

Gameplay

Interplanetary Mission, is a 3D action/adventure game where you play as E.T. And navagate several different planets. Away from home adventure, is a board game with a lot of cool features, memory, connect the planets, and much more. Finnaly Phone home adventure is your bassic point and click adventure. Think of Myst for children with lots of puzzles and cool E.T. facts.

Lasting Appeal

These games are great for smaller children, as well as refreshingly fun for the adults. Gives me a real sence of nostalgia.

Conclusion

While we reviewed these games in one review I need to point out that the games are sold individually. I strongly suggest that if your interested in them you get all of the games. Its the only way I could see playing them. As they all intertwine via story.
