Sorry, no media exists for this game.

Introduction

This is a great game from Microsoft, the creator
of Asheron’s Call, and some other great games. I
love motocross, and I probably always will...
When I bought the game for $20 at Babbages, I
knew it was going to be a totally awesome game,
due to what all my friends were sayin’ about it.
I can’t help but LOVE the graphics, and feel the
game around me as the engine revs up, and the
championship race begins.
The game is very realistic, and tracks can be
made with an editor that was made called
Armadillo. I have made 1 track with it, and it
was horrible! I love the game, especially an
outdoor Nationals track called Voodoo Basin. All
of the tracks are amazing, and custom tracks can
be downloaded from
http://www.motocrossmadness2.com, which can then
be used for racing on.

Presentation

The feel of the game is great, with even the
main menu good with the theme (a bike chain with
different options). I love the way that you can
select the skin and bike you want before racing
(full 3d), and I just love the way it looks. The
game feels great, and you can really get into
it, just by playing the game for a short time
when you buy it.
The game is very realistic, from the physics to
the detail of the environments that you race in.
The visibility is also realistic, and can be
changed, along with the amount of detail that is
shown in the terrain and surrounding areas of
the tracks. There is even an option to force all
textures into memory, which makes the game run
at the maximum detail possible, while allowing
the game to run smooth, even when racing the
maximum number of opponents (11).

Graphics & Sound

The graphics are sweet! I really enjoy the
realism of the terrain (fading), and the way
everything looks when it is put together. I
think that Microsoft and Rainbow Studios did a
great job with this part of the game, and also
the audio area as well.
The sounds and stuff are great as well,
including the sounds of the engines getting
ready for the start of a race, and the sound of
the bike when you crash, trying to land a
cordova, or other stunt. When in supercross, the
crowd sounds like it is really there, because
depending on what happens, the noises change
also.

Gameplay

This game plays very well for me, including the
controls, and the reaction times programmed into
the game. It feels just like the real thing, and
it is one of the things that got me hooked! The
other riders interact with you, and the game can
also be played online, so you can fight your
buddies online to see who has the best line at
Seattle, or who can really make it over that
little downhill bump at Voodoo Basin. The game
is absolutely awesome in this aspect!

Lasting Appeal

As I said earlier, I am hooked to this game, and
I probably will be for a long time. The game
offers so many tracks, as well as the
multiplayer capability and track editor, it is
hard to put down! The game is just impossible to
stop playing!

Conclusion

Like I have just detailed, I love this game, and
recommend it to anyone who even likes motocross
just a TINY bit! This game is sure to get you
addicted! Just remember, you have to have a
Direct3D compatible 3-D Accelerator card (not
FULL 3D) to get all you can out of this game.
