Tekken Tag Tournament
Its everything a Tekken fan could want in one game.
And for that reason alone this game should get a 10 but it doesn’t. There are a lot of characters from the old games, in fact that is why I prefer this game to DOA: 2 for that reason. The tag feature was fairly easy to get used to. The characters had an outrageous amount of attacks there were about 200 in all. Each of the characters had a different type of fighting style.
There is a huge amount of hidden stuff to unlock including Tekken bowling. The bowling is extremely addictive and fun you just pick a character and bowl away. You can even play it with 2 players.
The graphics are crisp and clean; the video scenes are pretty much in-game graphics. The ending scenes for each of the characters are very involving and dramatic.
This game is not perfect believe me but it is a great multiplayer (if you have a multi-tap) game. I wish the static ness and the control was topnotch though.
This game is just as great as Tekken 4 and has even greater graphics. If you are sick of the style of Tekken games then this game doesn’t really add anything new. But you should pick it up, just for the graphics. If you want a game that features all the Tekken gang then you should check this out, it combines all the greatest aspects of the Tekken series and that makes it one of the best ps2 games to date.
