Microsoft announced recently that it had shipped over 30 million of its Xbox 360 consoles globally, representing 28 percent growth over last year’s sales. The Xbox LIVE community has seen membership swell to over 20 million users, spread over 26 countries. In addition, Microsoft stated that over 1 billion of gaming and entertainment content had been downloaded from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
